We chose collagen as the protein source because it is the main building block in all connective tissue in our body. In our modern day diets, we don't drink a lot of bone broths or eat tendon, which is where one would typically ingest high concentrations of collagen from. Adding collagen to your diet can support skin health, increase muscle recovery rates, and reduce joint pain.
TIP: Vitamin C plays a critical role in collagen synthesis!
Peanut Butter Cup: classic peanut butter cup flavour is created using natural peanut butter made from dry roasted peanuts, 100% Canadian honey, and Belgian dark chocolate.
Ingredients: Collagen (porcine), Canadian honey, Natural peanut butter, Belgian dark chocolate, [cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin (added as emulsifier), natural vanilla], rolled oats
Strawberry Blondie: It’s a flavor experience that hits every note. The creamy richness of white chocolate melts into the nutty smoothness of peanut butter, while real freeze-dried strawberries add a bright, fruity pop. Oats and honey bring the perfect balance of chewiness and natural sweetness. It’s indulgent yet wholesome—like a delicious childhood treat, reimagined with purpose.
Ingredients: Beef gelatin (source of collagen), Natural peanut butter, Honey, White chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, soy lecithin [emulsifier], natural vanilla), Freeze-dried strawberries, Oats
We use porcine collagen due to its similarity to the collagen found in human bodies and it is more easily absorbed and tolerated.
For example, up to 3% of people are allergic to bovine collagen but porcine collagen allergies are less in occurrence.
